LARGE ART NOUVEAU, "DANCING GORY GIRL ", BRONZE SCULPTURE

Art Deco/Art Nouveau, Pure Bronze, Signed & with Foundry Coin, " Dancing Girl " Figurine, Gory, on bespoke turned, black marble base.

• This extremely high-quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base

Dimensional Data

• The statue, overall, is 510 mm (20 1/16") high, around 220 mm (8 5/8") wide & weighs 8,1 kgs (17,8 lbs)
• The bespoke black marble base is 144 mm (5 5/8") diameter at its widest x 102 mm (4") high.

General

• A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling.
• An exclusive reproduction of the original, Art Deco c1920 version by Affortunato Gory (1895 - 1925) a famous Italian Art Deco sculptor.
• A Gory was most famous for young, dynamically posed, early 20th century ladies.
• A highly detailed figurine, perfectly balanced on one leg, holding out her flowing skirt, whilst dancing
• This one is signed "A Gory" & carries the foundry coin
• Stock photos, so slight colour variations may occur within either the marbling or the patina
