ART DECO FRENCH BRONZE "THE THINKER" RODIN

Superb, Pure Bronze, Signed, Auguste Rodin "The Thinker" figure, securely mounted on square black marble base.

• This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique, is mounted on a square marble base.

Dimensional Data

• The statue, overall, is 220 mm (8 5/8") high, & weighs 3,2 kgs (7,0 lbs)
• The square black marble base is 108 mm (4 1/4") wide, x 108 mm (4 1/4") deep x 19 mm (3/4") thick.

General

• A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling.
• An excellent reproduction of the original, romantic c1880-81 version by Auguste Rodin, a renowned French painter & sculptor, (1840 -1917), most famous for his exquisitely detailed statues on the subject of human emotion.
• This one is signed "Rodin" & also contains the bronze foundry coin.
• Stock photos, so slight colour variations may occur within either the marbling or the patina
